Mr. Joseph Steven “Joe” Smith Jr, 36, of Elberton, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Elbert Memorial Hospital in Elberton. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. At other times the family will be at the home. A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at 4:00 in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Mr. Mark Dixon officiating. Joe wished to be cremated following the service. The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
