Hartwell Holds Tree Lighting Tonight

The City of Hartwell will kick off the Christmas season with their tree lighting this evening from 5p to 7p on the Square downtown.

Sponsored by the Hart County Chamber of Commerce, in addition to the tree lighting, there will also be a host of things to see and do downtown tonight.

There will also be a Santa’s Village filled with crafts, games, and fun for the entire family.

Additionally, shops will be open downtown, so you can shop to Christmas music and caroling.

And of course, Santa will be on hand to take those requests from the kiddos.

After tonight’s tree lighting, Hartwell will be gearing up for its annual Christmas parade, which takes place Sunday, December 12 at 4p.
