Georgia DNR Parks, Campsites Remain Open – Seven State Park Golf Courses Also Open

In accordance with Governor Kemp’s executive order, Georgia State Parks remain open.

During this challenging time, Georgia State Parks recognizes the importance of exercise and being outside.

Our golf courses remain open to the public, but our clubhouses are closed to visitors. You may reserve and pay for a tee time by calling the clubhouse directly, or by booking online through their website.

Georgia DNR-managed State Parks cabins, campgrounds, and trails are still open to the public.

We encourage our golfers to visit their local courses and use social distancing when playing. Our staff is making all possible actions to make the course a safe space to play, including modified bunker rules, limiting tap-in requirements so golfers are not required to reach their hands in the cup, and cleaning off the carts after each use.

Coral Hospitality which manages the five lodge parks and 3 golf courses for Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites has modified their operations. Dining facilities at all lodges are closed. The lodges and cabins at Lake Blackshear Resort, Little Ocmulgee, and George T. Bagby state parks are closed and Meadow Links Golf Course at George T Bagby State Park is closed.

This is a fluid situation, and we thank you for your flexibility. All information about closures can be found on our alerts page.
