Franklin Community Players Announce Sign-up for Stories and Songs of Christmas

The Franklin Community Players has announced the sign-ups for its yuletide production of Stories and Songs of Christmas 2019.

All members of the community who wish to participate are invited to sign up, on Monday, November 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lavonia Cultural Center, located at 12221 Augusta Road, in Lavonia.

Franklin Community Players President Amy L. Burns says anyone interested in participating can drop by the Cultural Center to let them know the Christmas song they wish to perform or the holiday-themed story they want to share.

Solos, duets and groups are equally welcome to join in the holiday fun.

People unable to attend the sign-up session can call the FCP at 706-491-9374.

Stories and Songs of Christmas 2019 will be performed on Saturday, December 14 at 7 p.m. at the Lavonia Cultural Center.

Burns says for the past two years Stories and Songs of Christmas has been well received by the community. She says this production has quickly become a special holiday tradition for Northeast Georgia.

Tickets for the production are on sale now and can be purchased for $10 by calling 706-491-9374.

Seating is general admission, and Children two and under are admitted for free.

Audience members are strongly encouraged to bring canned goods or other non-perishable food items for the Lavonia Food Bank.

Again, a sign-up event will be held on Monday, November 18 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Lavonia Cultural Center.
