F4R Outdoors, founded by Maliek Carrington of Charlotte, North Carolina in 2009, is on a mission to provide underserved youth with the opportunity to fish and learn more about bass fishing with a commitment to resource conservation, product cultivation, sport development, professional integrity and family values.

As a bass tournament trail and association, F4R provides opportunities for individuals and local fishing associations to become a member of a larger national organization.

Carrington urges locals to help him empower underserved communities across the country and build a sustainable lifestyle for all people to enjoy the great outdoors. Carrington says It pays to go Fishing4Reel.

F4R Outdoors vision is to bring family-friendly events to Hartwell by inviting church youth ministries and partnering with local schools. F4R also helps at-risk youth by speaking at local schools and introducing youth to boating and fishing.
