FCP to present 2nd Annual Stories and Songs of Christmas

The Franklin Community Players will present their yuletide production “Stories and Songs of Christmas 2018” tonight at 7 p.m. at the Lavonia Cultural Center.

Incoming President Amy L. Burns said the troupe is excited about presenting this music-filled evening for the second year in a row.

Friday, Dec. 14 at 7 o’clock we’ll be having our second Stories and Songs of Christmas. We’re really excited about it. There will be heartwarming stories and wonderful songs. There will be a few skits thrown in there as well. We have people from Hart, Franklin and Stephens County participating in the show. I know it’s the same night as the Christmas Festival, so go on over to the Christmas Festival downtown and then head on over to the Cultural Center and enjoy a wonderful show,” said Burns.

According to Burns, the night will feature 25 songs, stories and skits. It will be presented in two parts with an intermission between the acts. Concessions will be available during intermission.

Tickets for the production are on sale now. The priceis $5 for all audience members aged 3 and older. Children two and under are free. Seating is general admission. To purchase tickets, call 706-491-9374.

Audience members are also encouraged to bring canned goods or other non-perishable food items for the Lavonia Food Bank.
