“Stop the Violence, Live-N-Peace” March and Parade
Tackling The Streets announces its “Stop the Violence, Live-N-Peace” Unity in Our Community March and Parade, this Sunday, February 16th at 2 p.m. in downtown Anderson, SC. The event will encourage peaceful living and solutions through mentoring for young people in the Anderson area. The public is invited to attend.
The parade will begin at the Wells Fargo Bank on Main Street in Anderson at 2 p.m. and follow a route to the Anderson Courthouse. Following the parade, participants and guests are invited to gather at the Anderson Civic Center for food, vendors and festivities. There will be home-cooked food and live music at the post-parade event.
Tackling The Streets provides a youth enrichment program that focuses on education, nutrition, youth autism, youth ADHD, physical fitness, and character building. It also offers a ministry for adults with broken homes, hardships, drug addiction, alcohol abuse, low self-esteem, emotional stress and distress.
