Election Results

Carnesville will have two new city council members.  Both incumbents Chad Bennett and Mike Barrett were defeated by challengers Wesley Dove and Janet Claytor.

in Canon, Ray Morgan defeated challenger Charles Bradley for mayor, and he will serve another four years.  In the city council races, both Annie Wallace and Dale Garner were re-elected.  They were challenged in the at-large race by Eli Brown.

In Hart County, voters chose to continue the penny SPLOST.  Sunday alcohol sales passed in Hartwell.
