Elberton teen arrested for stabbing victim multiple times in the back

According to a report by the Elberton Journal, an Elbert County teenager has been arrested and charged with the stabbing of an Elberton man.

Elbert County Sheriff Melvin Andrews has announced the arrest of 17-year-old Trent Lee Brock of a Flagstone Road address in Elberton after he allegedly stabbed 26-year-old David Bray multiple times early Friday morning.

Brock has been charged with aggravated battery and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.

The report states Elbert County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:55 a.m. Friday about a person lying in the roadway on Flagstone Road. Deputies found the victim, Bray, with multiple stab wounds to the back.

After interviewing Bray, investigators determined there were two suspects, one of whom was Brock. The other individual was not charged.

According to the sheriff’s office, Brock was denied bond and is being held at the Elbert County Detention Center.
