Early Voting Shatters Records Statewide, and Locally

Early voting numbers across the State continue to shatter all records.

By Tuesday at 5p, the total turnout, including absentee paper ballots returned, was over 3.2 million or 45.3% of all registered voters in Georgia.

In Franklin County, according to the Secretary of State’s Data Hub, 6,769 of the County’s 16,225 active voters had cast early in-person ballots and 343 of the 458 absentee paper ballots issued had been returned for a total voter turnout of 7,112 ballots cast.

That’s 43.8% of the County’s registered active voters.

In Hart County, of the 18,536 active registered voters, the total turnout, including advance in-person and absentee paper ballots as of Tuesday at 5p was 9,012 ballots cast.

That’s 48.6% of Hart County’s active registered voters who have already cast ballots in the November 5 Election.

And there are three more days of advance voting to go.

There is NO opportunity to vote early this Saturday. Advance voting ends Friday at 5p.

Advance voting takes place from 9a to 5p today through Friday.

Those who are voting by absentee paper ballot have until 7p on November 5 to return their ballot to their local Elections or Registrar’s Office.

You can track where your ballot is in the system, whether you’re waiting to receive your ballot or you have mailed it back,  through the Absentee Ballot Portal section of their My Voter Page (MVP) at https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/.

In Franklin County, voters go to the Board of Elections Office on the Royston Rd. in Carnesville.

In Hart County, voters have two locations in which to advance vote: the Board of Elections Office on Cade St. In Hartwell and at the Reed Creek Family Life Center on Reed Creek School Road in Reed Creek.
