Ducky – Young Lab-mix Girl Seeks Family for Fun, Love, and Years of Faithful Companionship

Ducky was adopted after we first told you about her in February.

Sadly, she proved to be too much dog for the couple that adopted her and she is now back up for adoption through the Hart County Humane Society.

Ducky is a 59-pound, year-old, female Labrador Retriever mix available for adoption through the Hart County Humane Society.  She got her name when she was caught chasing ducks as a stray.

Ducky roamed awhile as a stray before being injured by another dog, which required veterinary care. Unclaimed at the Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter, she was taken into foster care by the Hart County Humane Society and is now healthy and ready to find her meant-to-be forever family.

Ducky would be perfect for a family with children that she could run and play with.

She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and has had all of her shots. Ducky has also been treated for parasites.

The sweet, very affectionate girl is house/crate trained and walks well on a leash. Ducky needs a home where she can be a true part of the family. She also needs a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play and still be safe and where there is no waterfowl for her to chase.

Applications to adopt can be found at harthumane.org. Donations are desperately needed and greatly appreciated. Donations can be sent to Hart County Humane Society P.O. BOX 1062 Hartwell GA. 30643 or by using the donate button on our website.
