Dolly: Foxhound Mix Available From Hart Co Humane Society

“Hi! I’m Dolly, a three-year-old, female, 55-pound, Foxhound mix.

A nice person found me in the middle of a country road, starving, freezing, and covered with wounds. I was so grateful when she stopped her car, I humbly wagged my tail and jumped in.

She got me to a veterinarian where I was diagnosed with dreaded heartworm disease! However, I have finished treatment to rid me of the nasty heartworms and am now healthy and ready to find my new family.

I am spayed, micro-chipped, have had all my shots, and I’m on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Although I get along with some dogs I would prefer to be the only pet in a home without very young children. I am house trained and walk well on a leash, and am very affectionate.  A home with a fence where I would be an inside family member is what I dream of.

Please consider adopting me. I promise to be a devoted companion. Applications to adopt me can be found at harthumane.org.”
