Bowersville Car Show Set For Saturday

If you think you’ve got the best car or motorcycle around or you love car shows, then you’ll want to be at the Bowersville Car Show on Saturday.  Michael Wood is with the Bowersville Masonic Lodge #595, the group sponsoring the first annual show.  He says any type of old or new vehicle or motorcycle is eligible to participate.

Wood says a people’s choice format will be used with ten plaques given out.

“Once they’re registered, each participant will be given a piece of paper where they’ll write their information, and it will be numbered.  And then that’s how everyone will vote on their cars by the number, not necessarily by the person.  Of course, it’ll go consecutively as they register, you know #1 through ever how many their registration form and registration card will have a number assigned to it.  And people vote by number, you know, rather than by name.”

Wood says there will also be hamburgers and hotdogs for sale, a 50/50 raffle, and music performed by Jerry Mosier and Olivia Berry.

Wood says proceeds from the car show will benefit the Masonic Home of Georgia, which is a children’s home in Macon that kids from all over the state including Northeast Georgia.

Contestants can start registering at 10:30am.  The fee is $10 per vehicle.  Spectators are free.  The Bowersville Car Show is this Saturday (May 14, 2022) from 11:00am-3:00pm in downtown Bowersville.
