ARC, GMRC present a large check to Hart County Commissioners
Annaka Woodruff, ARC Programs Manager for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) and Laurin Yoder, Project Manager for the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission (GMRC) attended last night’s meeting of the Hart County Board of Commissioners and presented a large (both in size and amount) check to the commissioners.
The check, presented to commissioners for the Industrial Building Authority (IBA), is a grant for infrastructure work at the Gateway Industrial Park, said Woodruff.
“We are happy to present this check to the commissioners this evening on behalf of the Industrial Building Authority for the sewer lift station at the Gateway Industrial Park. We want to acknowledge all of the hard work that you’ve done and we want to acknowledge what the IBA has done to increase employment and improve the quality of life throughout Hart County and we are proud partners with you in this endeavor,” said Woodruff.
Woodruff and Yoder then presented the check for $456,168 to the commissioners.
