2021 Pro Watercross Coming to Tugaloo State Park This Weekend

Pro Watercross tour coming to Tugaloo State Park Saturday

The 2021 ProWatercross National Championship Tour is coming back to Lavonia this weekend.

Lavonia’s Tugaloo State Park will be the fifth leg of the tour this Saturday and Sunday.

The park’s six-lane mega ramp has made the park a popular site for large fishing tournaments, as well as recreational boating, and the ample parking and easy launch access also make it a perfect site for watercross racing.

Spectators can watch the event from the hillside at the Mega Ramp. There will be a $5 parking fee to get into the park.

This year’s 2021 National Tour will award more than $150,000 in prize money and awards throughout the Tour.

This is the 26th annual Pro Watercross tour and organizers are asking those attending and athletes at the event to remember to practice social distancing, use hand sanitizer or wash hands often, and wear facemasks when closer than 6 ft of others.

The Pro Watercross tour started April 10th in Sebring, FL and will wrap up the weekend of August 28 in Lake Louise, Louisiana.
