2020-2021 Georgia DNR Hunting Seasons and Regulations Guide Now Avialable

The 2020-2021 Georgia Hunting Seasons and Regulations Guide is now available either online, via the DNR app or in print.

The guide provides important information on season dates, bag limits, hunting licenses, wildlife management areas, quota hunts, youth opportunities and much more.

And this year there are some changes to the hunting regulations.

Among them, all harvested alligators, deer, and turkey must be reported through the Georgia Game Check system within 24 hours of harvest.

There are new public hunting opportunities at the Canoochee Sandhills, the Ceylon, and Sansavilla Wildlife management areas.

Also some changes for waterfowl hunting.

Active duty military and veterans may hunt during the Special Opportunity Waterfowl Season Nov. 14-15.

Bag limit for scaup is reduced to 1 bird; and there are special restrictions for waterfowl hunting on Lake Allatoona.

You can view the guide and download it by going to eregulations.com/georgia/hunting/ or on the Go Outdoors Georgia app.

You can also pick up a printed copy at Wildlife Resources Division offices and license vendors throughout Georgia.
