11/26/12 – “Princess Leia” – Chihuahua at Hart Co. Humane

Princess Leia is a precious young Chihuahua found homeless and lying in the middle of a rural road, covered with fleas.
She is now clean and beautiful, loves to snuggle and give kisses, and walks beautifully on a leash with a little harness.
Princess Leia is a wonderful house training student. She gets along very well with her foster home’s Shih Tzu and cat, although the cat hasn’t given her much of an opening for friendship.
Leia is a very loving dog who deserves a home where she will be adored and treated like a Princess for the rest of her life.
The Princess is being treated for heartworms, which are the result of the neglect she endured before being found, and for a while, must be confined and inactive until she completes her treatment in early December.
She has been spayed, is up to date on all her vaccinations and parasite preventives, and has an identity microchip implant.
This is a perfect little dog for someone looking for a constant companion to love and spoil.  To learn more about Princess Leia and arrange to meet her, please call Margaret Kiemele with the Hart County Humane Society at 706-376-6404.
