10/12/12 – “Marshal” – Golden Retriever Mix Puppy at NEGAS

Marshal is the kind of dog most people dream about when they’re thinking of the perfect canine companion.  He is nothing short of perfect.

At 8 months old, Marshal is still a big puppy who has yet to grow into his webbed feet.  Despite coming from a very bad situation, he has a happy, playful personality that makes him perfect for just about anyone, families with kids, couples, or single adults looking for a great dog to pal around with.

Because he is a Golden Retriever/Newfoundland mix, he has a natural love of the water and would be great for anyone who likes to be out on the lake or on the ocean fishing, boating, swimming, whatever.

His sweet nature means he gets along with everyone, including  children, other dogs, and cats.  Marshal is housebroken, walks well on a leash, is very smart and already knows a number of commands and tricks the shelter staff will be happy to show you.

If you’re looking for a wonderful lifelong companion, Marshal is your man!  His $55 adoption fee includes his neuter and rabies vaccine.

The Northeast Georgia Animal Shelter is located on Bear Creek Road off SR17 in Lavonia.  For more information on Marshal and other great pets available for adoption, contact them at: 706-356-5363.  The shelter is open Tuesdays-Saturdays 11a – 4p.  Visit their Website at: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/GA201.html.
