05/13/13 – “Sugar” – Spitz-mix with Hart County Humane Society

There had been numerous reports of a small white dog running near the highway for a few weeks. Many people worried about the little dog but when anyone approached she would dart away. Then the inevitable happened, she was struck by a car. Now injured, the little dog accepted help from a rescuer.
We waited for an owner to claim the sweet dog while we cared for her minor injury. As hard as it is to believe, no one has claimed our sweet Sugar. Sugar is an approximately 3 year old Spitz mix. She has been spayed, micro chipped, tested negative for heart worms, is up to date with vaccinations, has been treated for internal and external parasites and is on preventative. Sugar is very focused on her people and wants desperately to be a best friend and companion.
She is house trained and gets along with other dogs, cats and children. If you would like more information or would like to meet Sugar please call 706-436-0965 or email [email protected].
